The Hong Kong Government’s Leisure and Cultural Services Department has harnessed the SCMP’s writing, design, marketing and online expertise to create a new native advertising channel on The channel called Sights and Sounds, running from June to September, provides an engaging window on the city’s varied cultural scene with nine feature stories. Firmly aimed at local residents and art lovers, the stories tie in with events from Shakespeare and Chinese Opera to flamenco and ballet. The band performance at Hong Kong’s first-ever International Military Tattoo will be broadcast via Facebook live video on the SCMP fan page.
