Winners of BDO ESG Awards announced

Awards Presentation Ceremony recognised top companies for excellence in implementing and reporting on sustainability

Results of the inaugural BDO ESG Awards were revealed at an Awards Presentation Ceremony at JW Marriott hotel on January 25, 2018.

Held by BDO Hong Kong, part of one of the world’s five largest accountancy networks, the awards recognise listed companies for implementing and reporting on outstanding sustainability initiatives within the context of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) information.

Companies were judged in two award categories: “Best in ESG Awards,” and “Best in Reporting Awards.” Winners of both categories were granted “ESG Report of the Year,” and they were the Lenovo Group, Melco International Development, Panda Green Energy Group and Northern New Energy Holdings.

The Awards Presentation Ceremony was powered by SCMP Advertising & Marketing Solutions, which handled a full range of tasks to ensure a successful event. The scope of work encompassed setting up the awards application and judging mechanisms, and creative services such as designing the website, award booklet, certificates, trophies and other items.
