SCMP biggest winner with 11 awards including 3 Golds for ‘China Tech City’ and dominating online video category
Hong Kong, October 31, 2019 - The South China Morning Post’s branded content team, Morning Studio, added another feather in its cap by sweeping the ‘Native Advertising and Branded Content’ category at the 2019 WAN-IFRA Asian Digital Media Awards.
The accolades showcased Morning Studio’s creativity and expertise in a post-ad blocking media environment, creating three winning brand stories that showcased the best user experience and displaying effective use of multiple media platforms. The winning works were:
The Asian Digital Media Awards 2019, presented by World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), recognise publishers who have adopted digital media and mobile strategies as part of their total product offering to meet the major changes in how people consume news and information today.
Fifteen judges participated in this year's Asian Digital Awards from around the world, judging 151 entries submitted from 24 media companies from 11 countries.
The Asian Digital Media Awards also recognised the best in publishing across Asia with categories including newspaper and magazine design, infographics, printing, editorial content, marketing, community service, and photojournalism. SCMP also won awards in the following five categories:
The Asian Digital Media Awards was held in conjunction with WAN-IFRA’s Digital Media Asia, which takes place this week from October 29-31. Attended by leading media executives from Asian newspapers and publishers, it is the largest conference in Asia focused exclusively on innovation in the digital and technology space.
