SCMP Updates
While 2020 has been a challenging year for all of us, Operation Santa Claus (OSC) continued to promote the spirit of giving to benefit those in need with our campaign ‘Caring Community, Caring Christmas’.

Although two-thirds of fundraising events were cancelled or postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, over 60 corporate and school donors, and thousands more continued showing their generous support to the campaign.

We are here to share the delightful news that OSC raised more than HK$16.7million in donations, with support from over 60 school and corporate donors. A big round of applause to all our supporters!

Jointly organised by Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) Radio 3 and the South China Morning Post (SCMP), OSC 2020 successfully raised funds for 19 selected beneficiaries to run charitable projects helping those in need from Hong Kong’s community, specifically children, young people, the elderly, as well as people with physical and mental disabilities.

We celebrated the leading lights for this year’s OSC campaign, kindly see our specially produced video wrapping up OSC 2020 in the slider.
