Kicked Off the First Webinar about the Role in Transforming Historical Research 

Weldon Kong, Associate Director, Content Resources at SCMP shared with attendees the archiving content and archiving challenges at SCMP on 10 December 2020 (Thursday) at the first webinar of SCMP Compass.  He was followed by Korey Lee, Vice President, Data at SCMP who shared how he and his team worked on the internal project codenamed “Vintage” and “Dali” to digitize SCMP’s historical content, utilizing new AI machine learning and leverage new technologies to improve search and findings for users.
