SCMP Wins Big at Global and Regional Awards
Produced by the International News Media Association (INMA), the awards were presented before more than 400 delegates at the Edison Ballroom in New York’s Times Square last week. During the ceremony, 40 first-place winners were unveiled across 20 categories aimed at energizing news brands, creating products, engaging audiences, developing customer insights, growing advertising revenue, and instilling innovation. The competition garnered 664 entries from 165 news media companies in 34 countries. Participants included newspaper media, magazine media, digital media, television media, and radio media.
Over on this side of the pond, SCMP swept a total of six wins at the prestigious annual WAN-IFRA Asian Media Awards, including two golds, two silvers, and two bronzes. The award ceremony was successfully held at the Publish Asia Conference in Singapore earlier this month.
The Asian Media Awards presented at this year’s Publish Asia conference promote the highest publishing standards in the field. They cover newspaper and magazine design, infographics, printing, editorial content, marketing, community service, and photojournalism.
