Cathy is a corporate affairs leader with more than 20 years of experience mostly spanning the financial, telecommunications and media industries. Cathy has lived and worked in Hong Kong SAR since 2007, where she resides with her husband and three children.

In her current position as Group Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for FWD, a pan-Asian insurance company, Cathy leads teams focused on internal and external communications, events and philanthropy. She is a member of the Group Management Team and Group ESG Committees. 

Prior to joining FWD in 2021, Cathy spent 10 years at J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong where she was Executive Director, Communications & Marketing for J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank in Asia Pacific.

Earlier in her career, Cathy worked for four years at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong and Sydney where she held various corporate communications positions. Previously, Cathy managed media and investor relations for Austar, an Australian pay television company, where she also supported government relations and industry lobbying efforts and represented the company at industry and investor forums.

Cathy began her career in the telecommunications industry where she worked as an Investor Relations Manager and Corporate Affairs Executive at Optus (and parent company Singapore Telecom) for four years, based in Sydney and later Singapore.

She also lived briefly in Ireland and worked as a Communications Officer for the local government Homeless Agency in Dublin. This experience led to a further six years of volunteer work in Scotland, South Africa, Denmark, Australia and France focused on media relations, social media and writing for the annual Homeless World Cup - a tournament which taps the power of football to engage homeless people to make positive life changes.

Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Technology, Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Investment & Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia and completed International Marketing Executive Education at INSEAD in France.
