Celia Ling is Chief Marketing Officer for Greater China of Manulife Asia. She leads the overall marketing and customer strategy across the greater China region, with a focus on strengthening connectivity across markets, driving synergies and scale, and advancing shared capabilities to deliver a more integrated brand and customer experience. She is also responsible for setting strategic direction, advancing data- and AI-driven growth marketing, fostering collaboration across business, distribution, digital and technology teams, as well as leading the development of more connected wealth and health propositions and services to support business growth.

Prior to her current role, Ling served as Chief Marketing Officer for Manulife Hong Kong and Macau, where she led the marketing function and developed innovative, customer-centric marketing strategies aligned with Manulife’s strategic priorities. She played a key role in strengthening the company’s brand, advancing its customer-led transformation and embedding data and digital capabilities to deliver measurable business impact.

Ling is a seasoned marketer with extensive experience in the insurance industry. She has a proven record of designing and implementing strategic marketing plans, developing innovative customer engagement platforms, spearheading digital health and wellness programmes and driving business growth for leading global insurers across Asia.

Prior to joining Manulife, she held multiple roles at AIA Group, including serving as the first Chief Customer Officer of China and Director of Group Health and Wellness Business Development. Before that, she held senior positions in marketing and distribution at AXA and Allianz, with experience across several Asia-Pacific markets, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and Taiwan.

Ling holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a major in Government and Public Administration and a minor in Law from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
